More than Just A Mum

I’m sure that we as mothers have all felt this way. Since I became a mum myself, I have felt all sorts of emotions being heightened. Truth is, “motherhood” as I see it is bittersweet.

It’s bittersweet, because it comes with all sorts of things you never prepared for and have to deal with it head on.

You know that saying? You either swim or sink? Well that’s what motherhood has been for me. I had to learn as I go and adapt, and no matter how many times I would trip and fall, I always had to pick myself up, because to me, I have two little angels who are helpless and need a mum who learns to swim through the storm no matter how tough it gets and not just sink and give up!

Let’s admit, we all feel like giving up at some point and throw in the towel and say, I’ve had enough of it, but then we see our kids, and they are the very reason why we keep getting up after being knocked down.

It may just be me, but if anyone else out there feel this way, just know you are not alone!
